Legal classification
Tattooing constitutes an intervention in your physical integrity
and requires the legally valid consent of the person being tattooed.
With this consent declaration you confirm that you have been fully
informed and that you consent to the tattoo.
Materials and inks
Only sterile single-use materials and sterilizable equipment are used.
The tattoo inks used are quality-tested. A residual risk of allergic
reactions can never be fully excluded.
Removal
Complete removal cannot be guaranteed. Removal may leave pigment residues, skin changes or scars. In Germany, laser removal of tattoos may only be performed by appropriately qualified licensed physicians.
Possible risks
- Redness, swelling, inflammation (normal reactions)
- Allergic reactions, more pronounced with colored/red inks
- Scarring and bleeding
- Deposition of ink pigments in lymph nodes and organs
Special notes
- MRI: possible complications in the tattooed area
- Spinal or epidural anesthesia is not generally ruled out by tattoos. In individual cases, medical staff may adjust the puncture site or technique accordingly.
- UV radiation: photochemical reactions are possible
- Cover-ups: increased risk of allergy due to unknown old inks
Aftercare (at least 3 weeks)
- Avoid: swimming pools, saunas, tanning beds
- Sun protection: avoid direct sunlight without UV protection
- No cosmetics in the tattooed area
- Leave the dressing on for 5 days (tattoomed uv milky)
- From day 5: clean with a pH-neutral washing lotion, apply a thin layer of Bepanthen or Pegasus cream 2 - 3 times daily
- Do not scratch, do not bathe, no chlorinated/salt water, no sports, no sauna
